June 2023 Newsletter

Happy Father’s Day to all the DADs!

Do not forget to fly your American flag on the 14th in honor of our country, our troops and our precious freedom!

Flag Day falls within National Flag Week, a time when Americans reflect on the foundations of the nation’s freedom. The flag of the United States represents freedom and has been an enduring symbol of the country’s ideals since its early days.

During both events, Americans also remember their loyalty to the nation, reaffirm their belief in liberty and justice, and observe the nation’s unity.

God Bless America!

MBSS Reports for Home Health Patients

Our home health referrals increased during COVID and have not changed much since. It is a very large part of what we do on the mobile clinic. We see a few HH therapists in the field during those studies, but not many. Our DTEX SLPs attempt to call all HH SLP’s at one point during the day after the study is completed to provide them the results. Because the referrals came from the HH agency, we are required to fax that report back to the HH agency within 24 hours, which we are committed to doing on a regular basis. Right now, we are short staffed in the office and do not have the extra staff to commit time to emailing the over 100 home health studies/SLP’ for each home health agency, but the HH SLP can retrieve it from their HH agency the next day, as we promise it will have been faxed. We apologize, we wish there was more time during each day in our small office to do this more regularly, there is more opportunities at the end of the week on Fridays for this. Thank you for your understanding.
